-Finishing up the recording on Sunday with Lucas. Shits sounding good man. Much more in the sound direction we all wanted.

-In other news, we’re playing a show on Saturday night at Allison’s and Mikes house in City Heights along with the righteous sounds of Wavves. Should be alot of fun!

-We will be playing one show only in February. We would like to use the month as a time for practice and songwriting.

-Elliot turns a very special age on Friday the 13th. WOW! Give him presents.

-I turn 27 on the 27th. Weird. I hadnt really thought about that. you only turn the age of your birthdate once. ALRIGHT!

RECORDING

We have been recording in the Ice Gallery the past 3 nights from 10pm to 4 am. Lucas, the famous drummer for the equally famous Anasazis is behind the board. He’ not only a good engineer, he’s also good at drinking beers and smoking stuff.
Almost everything has been recorded. This morning, 4 am found us with blowed out voices, drunken stink eyes, fightin words and a surrounding environment of BO, cigarette butts and 3 empty cases of beer.
Elliot has eloquently described the recording thus far as “Tuff”. I concur, its Tuff as Shit! Mixing goes down this coming Tuesday.

Alright then…
To catch up with shit we had a really great time at the Casbah and met lots of new friends after our fire ball set that ended in Tom throwing his drums in an attack of exhaustion and a blind fear that someone had thrown a bottle at his face. They didnt. Tom wasn’t wearing his glasses.
The next show was the Slaughter house show which got moved to an undisclosed location where ourselves and Wild Weekend played to a very packed and sweaty room. We spared no expense in the dishing out of hard and fast rock and roll. FUN!
